Official: 4th Gen iPod nano Case Spotted On the Floor at IFA

Confirming all of the recent rumors circulating about the upcoming 4th generation iPod nano, an official third-party case has been officially spotted on the floor at IFA.

“Our spicy, siesta loving friends over at Engadget Spanish just nabbed a hands-on with Hama’s “iPod nano 4G” case on the floor of IFA. The tip came in anonymously about an hour ago and sure enough, there it is, buried in a mountain of iPod accessories…” Engadget reports.

As you can see in the image above, the box clearly says “iPod nano 4G”. Third-party accessory makers have been known to jump the gun in the past. However, this falls in line with everything else we’ve been hearing about the iPod nano 4g having a taller “zune-like” screen and abandoning the short stubby look, for a taller, slender body. The first report came from iLounge which provided no leaked images, but claimed to have the information. On August 22nd, Kevin Rose posted a supposed leaked image of the iPod nano 4g, as well as other rumors about iTunes and OS X. Next up were leaked case images which trickled in back to back on August 24th and August 25th.

At this point, it is safe to say that we should be expecting to see the iPod nano released at the rumored Special September 9th event. Unless of course Apple saves that for some notebooks and releases this nano tomorrow. After all, tomorrow is Tuesday.
