Google Rolls Out Voice Recognition Search Application and New Gmail Themes

After some early confusion, the Google Voice Recognition Search app was finally able to make its push through the App Store. Additionally, Gmail users can now customize their email interface as Google has released new Gmail themes.

App Store Pros and Woes

The crew at Return7 are all smiles after Apple has reversed their decision to reject an update of their streaming radio application CastCatcher from the App Store. While Apple’s seemingly arbitrary decision making skills will have many developers biting their nails, we feel that a set of guidelines need to be in place to give the process more rhyme and reason. And if the App Store is starting to seem a bit chaotic, Apple is attempting to organize the flood of applications through a new section of their website dubbed, “iPhone Your Life.”

Rumors: MMS, Quad-Core iMacs, Walmart to sell iPhone and Possible Black Friday Deals

This week we have caught word that Swedish iPhone users may be getting MMS in the near future, a feature that has been enigmatically absent since the device’s inception. Rumors have also been circulating about possible Quad-Core iMacs to hit in January and Walmart to begin carrying the iPhone 3G. Apple TV Update and DisplayPort to Dual Link DVI Adapter Delayed

Apple has released Software Update 2.3 for the Apple TV that includes such features as streaming music through AirTunes and support for third-party remotes. For those of you that have been waiting for the DisplayPort to Dual Link DVI adapter, it appears as though you will have to continue to wait as shipping has been delayed until late December.
